Crafting

I've selected Sythweaving and diplomacy. Could anyone provide suggestions as to my third option? I'm curious if not getting archeology is going to be savagely disadvantageous. I was considering getting Investigation but do not want to cripple myself. Any input is appreciated.

Well you absolutely will need crystals for synthweaving, so you should either get Archaeology or prepare to spend some credits on the market for materials. Underworld Trading also gives crystals as I understand, but likely not in the quantity required to level quickly.

Just trying to weigh buying rare recipies Vs. buying crystals, but probably overall, its just easier to buy a recipie once in a while.

I went cybertech, scavenging and underworld. Any mats i cant use i will gladly pass along - also is there a guild bank anywhere????

Not yet, that is one of their highest priorities that they are currently working on.

I didn't mess with crafting at all during the one beta I was in (turkey day weekend). I have no clue what each one does, so perhaps I should look into it, since I am still! waiting for my early access. Anyone have a good resource site I can browse? Thanks!

If you aren't in game yet, these might be useful. I picked up my skills early (lvl 6) from the Imperial Fleet. Then I was able to use them while leveling to 10ish rather than starting to raise them after 10+ when your story takes you to the fleet.
